Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, had a telephone conversation with the President of the Russian Federation,  Honorable Vladimir Putin.

During the conversation, important issues of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Russia were reviewed.

On April 30, the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, received in the Palace of the Nation the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honorable Oljas Bektenov, who arrived Tajikistan on an official visit.

During the meeting, a range of issues of friendship and cooperation between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan were discussed.

On April 29, the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, received the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Mrs. Odile Renaud-Basso.

On April 26, the official visits of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, which took place from April 22 to 26 in the Italian Republic and the Vatican, came to an end.

On April 26, the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, visited the Vatican Museums after the meeting with the Pope.

It was reported that the Vatican Museums are a complex of museums located on the territory of the Vatican City State.

The museum complex was founded by the popes and contains works of art by artists of the past, including works from the Renaissance.

On April 26, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, as part of an official visit to the Vatican, met with Vatican’s Secretary of State, Cardinal Pietro Parolin.

During the conversation, issues of strengthening and expanding bilateral cooperation were discussed.

The President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, expressed gratitude to Vatican’s Secretary of State for the warm welcome.

On April 26, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, paid an official visit to the Vatican.

The Honorary Guard lined up in the Courtyard of San Damaso to welcome the distinguished guest.

The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, was warmly received by Pope of Rome Francis in the building of the Holy See.

Within the framework of the official visit to the Italian Republic, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, held a cordial meeting with representatives of Tajiks living in Italy, including Tajik students and employees of reputable organizations and structures located in this country.

During the meeting, the Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon first asked about their living, education and work conditions.

Within the framework of the official visit to Italy, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, after meeting with the Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, took part in the presentation ceremony of Tajik varieties of apricots, grapes and dried fruits of Tajikistan at the Headquarters of this organization.

The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, as part of his official visit to Italy, received in Rome the Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Qu Dongyu.

Issues of cooperation with this UN institution in the field of agricultural development were discussed at the meeting.
