Telegram of congratulations to the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping

The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Emomali Rahmon sent a message of congratulations to the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping.

The message reads in particular:

"Dear Mr. President,

Please accept my most sincere congratulations on your re-election as Chairman of the People's Republic of China.

The achievements of the People's Republic of China on the path of social and economic development and strengthening of the country's authority in the international arena under your wise leadership are unprecedented, and your unanimous re-election to this high state post is a clear indication of the firm support of your political course by the Chinese society.

I take this opportunity to express my confidence that we will continue to contribute to the steady development and expansion of the Tajik-Chinese relations of a comprehensive strategic partnership, which is based on the historical traditions of friendship and good-neighborliness.

I wish you, Mr. President, happiness, health and new achievements, and to the friendly China and its people - peace, progress and well-being.”
