The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon chaired a meeting in Temurmalik district of Khatlon Province devoted to the situation of the harvest.

Before the meeting, the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon toured an exhibition of cattle. 70 heads of big cattle, 400 heads of small cattle and about 50 horses were shown at the exhibition.

The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, has instructed the economic management to give initial importance to the issues of breeding and fodder harvesting for two years, along with increasing the number of animals.

The head of state Emomali Rahmon instructed the responsible persons to use all available opportunities and by greater involvement of the population to expand mowing campaign for natural grasses and to ensure the harvesting of feed for the winter period too.

The President of the country Emomali Rahmon reviewed the experience of the real dehkan farmer Rajabali Laqaev. Rajabali Laqaev cultivated potatoes, peas, barley and other crops on dry lands. The head of state paid special attention to the experience of growing dry potatoes in hilly conditions. Rajabali Laqaev thanked the head of state for his attention and said that he intends to get 33 quintals of wheat per hectare this season.

While on working trip to Khatlon Province, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon visited Danghara district and took part in the ceremony of launching of the secondary educational institution #75 to accommodate for 1280 in two shifts.

The construction of this school was carried out within the framework of good relationships between the Governments of the Republic of Tajikistan and the People's Republic of China and is the result of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two neighboring countries.

A total of 13 million 450 thousand somoni was allocated for the construction of the school. Construction started in 2018 and is finished by 2018. During the construction of the facility, dozens of local residents were occupied with jobs and provided with good earnings.

This four-storey school is built in accordance with modern requirements and consists of 35 classes, including technical, workrooms, laboratories, assembly hall for 365 seats, sports hall, sports ground, dining room with 120 seats and other auxiliary facilities. In the classes there are 6 electronic boards, 25 computers, 10 sewing machines.

In the course of inspection of the conditions in this newly built institution, the head of state highly appreciated the quality of the construction works and regarded it as a worthy gift for the younger generation.

In a conversation with schoolchildren, the Leader of the Nation instructed them on good study, mastering modern sciences and crafts and studying foreign languages.

Later, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon attended the cornerstone laying ceremony for the construction of a new building of the State Educational Institution “College of Fire Science Technology” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.

A total of 59 million 186 thousand somoni will be allocated for the construction of this facility.

The college will have administrative and educational buildings, parking for fire transportation service, a dining room for 170 seats, a library, an assembly hall for 250 seats, a sports hall, a hostel for 260 seats, tactical training center, mini-football pitches and volleyball and basketball courts and gymnastic exercises. The total area of the facility is 2.8 hectares.

After getting acquainted with the construction project of this educational institution, the head of state Emomali Rahmon instructed contractors for high-quality construction work.

In the framework of his working tour, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon attended the exhibition of agricultural products and held a meeting with activists and agricultural workers in the Khatlon province.

The farmers of the cities and districts of the country's largest agrarian region - Khatlon Province, have mostly displayed juicy fruits and various vegetables, cereals and industrial crops, medicinal herbs and other types of crops, which testifies to the high yields of generous sunny land.

Following the meeting with the activists and farmers of Khatlon Province, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon got acquainted with the conditions of the Cooperative Gardens “Somonjon”.

The production cooperative "Somonjon” has been created in a total area of 345 hectares, of which 102 hectares - intensive gardens, 135 hectares - vineyards and 75 hectares for almonds and plums.
