Telephone reports by the chairmen of Sughd and Khatlon Provinces, a number of cities and districts of the republic

The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a number of telephone conversations with chairmen of Sughd and Khatlon Provinces, cities of Hisor and Tursunzoda as well as the Jaloliddin Balkhi, Vaksh, Panj, Farkhor and Khuroson districts.

The subject of discussion was the socio-economic development of the regions, spring planting, efficient use of land and the supply of consumption market with quality and organic local products as well as overcome of the effects of last day weather conditions and shore protection.

However, given the current state of global community, President gave instructions to provinces and districts' chairmen in order to revise the republican plan for sowing crops, especially potatoes and increasing their crop area by more than 40 percent and repeated sowing at the expense of cereals by more that 60 percent.

Other instruction was also given related to prevention of coronavirus infection and awareness-raising among the population regarding keeping cleaner houses, and observance of personal hygiene.
