The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent a congratulatory message to the Secretary General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres.

The message reads in part:
Excellency,
I sincerely congratulate you on your re-election as Secretary-General of the United Nations.
I am confident that your rich experience and professional skills will further continue to serve the enhancement of the role of the United Nations, further improvement of the performance of the UN institutions, preservation and ensuring universal peace, stability and security, as well as implementation of 2030 Agenda and its sustainable development.

Taking this opportunity, I would like to emphasize that Tajikistan is willing to continue its fruitful and effective mutual cooperation with the UN and its specialized agencies in all areas of common interest to achieve the goals and to uphold values of the United Nations.

I wish you, Excellency, good health, happiness, prosperity and further success in conducting your responsibilities.
