On June 16, the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon opened the Simurg culture and recreational park in the Bahor village of the Oksu rural community in Danghara.
The park was built by local entrepreneur Romish Salimov on an area of seven hectares, with modern requirements and with high architectural art.
Two sports grounds for playing football, volleyball, special tennis courts, a playground for children and teenagers, a youth center, a cafe, a dining room with 60 seats, swimming pools for teenagers and adults, a fish pond, and a special area for cultural events are part of the new park, which also has 12 modern attractions for the recreation of children.
The park was created by domestic specialists using high quality building materials.
The territory of the park is completely landscaped with 11,000 unique shady and decorative seedlings, flowers and bushes.
Saplings, flowers and shrubs are cared for with a modern irrigation method, and the alleys in the new park are paved with slabs of high architectural art.
Eighteen large and small fountains built in a unique architectural style, impart majestic beauty to the territory of the park.
Along with this, artistic compositions are installed in the park, which includes sculptures of tigers and camels, antelopes and deer, squirrels, partridges, peacocks, and other animals and birds. Sculptures of children's cartoon characters, clay jugs decorated with unique flowers and bushes, add new beauty to the park.
The surroundings of the new park are completely fenced off and the entrance gates are also decorated with architectural art.
The new modern park was built by the local entrepreneur without attracting budget funds as part of the celebration of the upcoming independence’s 30th anniversary and the declared Years of Rural Development, Tourism and Folk Crafts. This corner of independent Tajikistan has now become more comfortable and beautiful, after the commissioning of the park, and 60 local residents are now provided with permanent jobs.
President Emomali Rahmon called the creation of such cultural objects a worthy gift and example and obliged the officials to take care of them.
He also drew the attention of those in attendance to the implementation of existing laws and creative plans of the government.
With the commissioning of the park, residents and guests of the Danghara district receive a favorable opportunity for recreation and festivities. Residents, especially young people, with a sense of gratitude for the wise policy of President Emomali Rahmon and the atmosphere of calm in independent Tajikistan, will walk here and receive spiritual recharge.
After the commissioning of the park, President Emomali Rahmon met with orphans from the cities and districts of the Khatlon region and presented them with school uniforms, financial assistance packages, and sweets.
Dozens of orphans from cities and districts of Khatlon region felt the humane policies and fatherly care of President Rahmon.
During the meeting, Emomali Rahmon emphasized that the needy strata of society are always in the center of attention of the government, and all conditions have been created to educate the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism and self-awareness.
Against this background, in response to the concern of the leadership of the state and the government, they were instructed to take advantage of the opportunities provided to study modern sciences and stay patriotic, with pride of their beloved independent homeland.
