Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon signed forty-five bills into law.

Among them are Laws of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Countering Terrorism”, “On Physical Culture and Sports”, “On Poultry Breeding”, “On Youth and Public Youth Policy”, Tax Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, on Amendments to the Laws of the Republic of Tajikistan "On the Provision of the Population with Fortified Food", "On Education", "On State Social Insurance", "On Consumer Protection" and "On State Policy in Industry".

The Tax Code of the Republic of Tajikistan has been adopted in a new, revised and amended edition, which, along with the existing privileges, provides for new benefits. In particular, the number of taxes was reduced from 10 to 7 items, the value-added tax rate was brought down from 18 to 15 percent, hotel services – from 18 to 7 percent, sales of domestic agricultural products and processing of agricultural goods – from 18 to 5 percent.

The above laws are aimed at the development of industry, poultry, sports, education of youth, improving living conditions, ensuring the rule of law and promoting the work of state and public bodies.
