On February 23, at Kokhi Vahdat, the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country, Emomali Rahmon, took part and spoke at a solemn meeting dedicated to the 29th anniversary of the Armed Forces of Tajikistan.

At first, the President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, sincerely congratulated all military personnel of power structures and law enforcement agencies, as well as veterans of military service on the Day of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The head of state expressed his thoughts on the 29-year history of the creation of the Armed Forces of the country in the extremely difficult, acute economic, military-political conditions of the country, passed strict exams and trials, on the transformation into an organized and reliable structure, a powerful force to protect the state and people of Tajikistan and one from the pillars of the independent state of Tajikistan.

Recalling the achievements of the 30th anniversary of State Independence, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, stressed that the protection of the independence and freedom of the state, the achievement of such great holidays, first of all, is the result of the faithful and patriotic service of the National Army units, other military structures and law enforcement officers of the country.

During his speech, the President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, expressed his thoughts on state support for soldiers, officers and law enforcement officers and noted that from the first days of independence, the leadership of the state and the government of the country provides all the material and moral conditions for their service and life. In particular, dozens of residential buildings were built for military personnel, their official salaries were increased, and worthy merits of soldiers and officers were awarded with state awards.

In conclusion, the head of state, Emomali Rahmon, expressed confidence that the military personnel of the Armed Forces, other military structures and law enforcement agencies of the country would continue with honor, observance of iron discipline, modern knowledge and skills, and, most importantly, with a high sense of patriotism, devotion to their state, Motherland and people, will fulfill their glorious and sacred duty.

After the speech of the President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, the solemn event in honor of the 29th anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of the country continued with a colorful concert program with the participation of artists and cultural figures, which became a worthy gift for the faithful officers and soldiers of the country.
