On February 24, the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, held a meeting in the Palace of the Nation with personnel appointed to responsible positions in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

In agreement with the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, from among the experienced and professional personnel, the heads of departments and divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Dushanbe, Khatlon region, Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, the city of Kulob, Jaihun, Vakhsh, Temurmalik and Shahritus districts of Khatlon region, heads of departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Faizabad, Nurabad districts and in the central structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have been appointed.

During the meeting, the President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, recalling the situation in the region and the world, the need to ensure the rule of law, fight against all kinds of violations of the law, prevent drug trafficking, weapons and other transnational crimes, stressed that young and capable personnel in connection with modern threats and crimes must constantly improve their skills and enhance their professional knowledge using modern technologies.

“You must put the interests of the nation and the state above all else, serve honestly, faithfully, with a sense of high responsibility, with a clear conscience, for the benefit of the state and people,” said the head of state, Emomali Rahmon, at the end of the meeting.
