On May 27, a meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan was held under the chairmanship of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Head of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.

First, the reports of the chairmen of the Committee for Tourism Development under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Committee for Local Development under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on the implementation of the decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated March 6, 2019 on the Action Plan dedicated to the “Years of Rural Development, Tourism and Folk Crafts, 2019-2021” were heard.

It was emphasized that the Action Plan was developed with the aim of modernizing the state of infrastructure, tourism services, presenting tourism opportunities and national culture in the international arena, attracting domestic and foreign investments in rural development, tourism and folk crafts, as well as training highly qualified personnel in the country and abroad.

President Emomali Rahmon instructed the responsible persons to take concrete measures to implement the Action Plan using all possibilities.

Then, drafts of a number of laws were discussed and submitted for consideration to the Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, in particular the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On electronic commerce”, the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the commercialization of the results of scientific and scientific and technical activities”, the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On pastures" and the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On amendments and additions to the Code of the Republic of Tajikistan on Administrative Offenses".

The meeting also discussed the issues of the Concept for the development of productive employment in the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2040, On the ban on the import, production and sale of mercury lamps in the Republic of Tajikistan.

At the end of the meeting, the Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, gave specific instructions to the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, heads of ministries, government departments and local executive bodies of state power of regions, cities and districts on the timely implementation of previously given instructions of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, indicators of the Address of the President of the country to Majlisi Oli, effective use of agricultural land, timely harvest, re-sowing, increasing the volume of production and export of products, monitoring the implementation of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On streamlining the traditions, celebrations and ceremonies in the Republic of Tajikistan" and the implementation of other plans and activities.
