On May 28, the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan, General of the Army Emomali Rahmon and Chairman of the Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mayor of the city of Dushanbe Rustami Emomali in the Firdavsi district on the day of celebration of 28th anniversary of the formation of the Border Troops of the State Committee for National Security of the Republic of Tajikistan arrived at the "Poytakht" Training Center of the Border Troops.

It should be noted that the "Poytakht" Training Center is designed to train junior specialists for soldiers and sergeants and retrain personnel and senior level of the Border Troops of the State Committee for National Security of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon in the "Poytakht" Training Center put into operation the Training and Shooting Range. At this range, officers mainly teach soldiers the proper handling of various firearms and the art of shooting. At the same time, this training ground is designed to improve the skills and professionalism of officers.

During the familiarization, the Head of State Emomali Rahmon highly appreciated the conditions created in this military training center and gave useful recommendations for further improving and strengthening the professional skills of military personnel, especially officers and soldiers of the Border Troops.

The Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon observed a demonstration of military equipment, tactical exercises and combat training of Tajik officers and soldiers from a command point. Training programs are being carried out on the tactical field at 13 points with the involvement of personnel, the necessary equipment and service dogs. When demonstrating the combat readiness of the border guards, operations were shown to detain and neutralize smugglers.

Having familiarized himself with the project for the construction of a canteen and a hostel for military personnel, the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon launched construction work on the territory of the "Poytakht" training center. The project envisages a canteen for 1,000 seats and a dormitory for 1,000 lodgers. In the basement of the building there is a gym and on the first floor there is a dining room with separate cooking rooms, a bakery, a food storage and utility rooms. The dormitory will be located on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors. The area under construction is 1,800 square meters, and the total area of the basement and four floors is 9,000 square meters.

Branch buildings and structures will be gradually built and put into operation on the territory of the "Poytakht" Training Center of the Border Troops, and decent service and living conditions will be created for officers and soldiers.

Further, the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon visited an exhibition of agricultural products produced at the expense of subsidiary farms of the Border Troops of the State Committee for National Security of the Republic of Tajikistan. The exhibition presented a wide range of vegetables, melons, fruits, cereals and canned food.

Then, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, delivered a speech before the soldiers and officers of the Border Troops of the State Committee for National Security of the Republic of Tajikistan, who lined up in honor of the 28th anniversary of the formation of the Border Troops. The head of state congratulated the Tajik border guards on this significant date and wished them courage, valor, achievements and success in their glorious military service.

After the speech of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, a military parade was held on the occasion of the 28th anniversary of the formation of the Border Troops.
