As part of his working trip to Khovaling district, the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, arrived in the village of Safedshahrak of Lohuti rural community, where he opened a secondary educational institution No. 18.

The new educational institution consists of two floors, has 17 classrooms and is designed for 680 students in two shifts.

The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, during the acquaintance highly appreciated the quality of construction work and the conditions created in this educational institution. Secondary educational institution No. 18 was built in a modern style and in accordance with international standards by the Directorate for the Construction of Government Facilities of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan as part of the action plan dedicated to the 35th anniversary of State Independence with funding from the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The new school has spacious classrooms, including classrooms for chemistry, physics, mathematics, biology, astronomy, natural science, vocational training, mastering folk crafts, a computer room, a library, a reading room, classrooms for teachers and staff, a medical center and other auxiliary facilities.

On the first floor of the building there is a canteen with 176 seats.

Also, in order to attract teenagers and young people to go in for sports, a spacious modern sports hall was built in the educational institution. It has the opportunity to play volleyball, basketball and other sports. Students have the opportunity to play sports for their physical hardening.

For holding various public and cultural events, a spacious assembly hall for 260 seats, furnished with the necessary equipment, was built on the second floor of the educational institution.

In separate labor training classrooms, students master the intricacies of folk crafts.

The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, held a warm conversation with teachers and students, demanded that teachers effectively use the conditions created in the new educational institution, attach serious importance to proper education, especially the exact sciences, working with modern technology, as well as mastering foreign languages, including Russian and English.
