Today, a telephone conversation took place between the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, and the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

At the beginning of the conversation, the President of Kazakhstan warmly congratulated the Head of our state on his birthday and wished the Leader of the Nation good health, prosperity and new great successes in his work, and the people of Tajikistan - peace and prosperity.

The heads of state noted the trend of dynamic development of the Tajik-Kazakh cooperation and exchanged views on the state and prospects of the Tajik-Kazakh relations of friendship and strategic partnership.

Special attention was paid to the agenda of the upcoming summit meetings in Astana.

The Presidents of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan in a telephone conversation also touched upon certain issues on the international and regional agenda of mutual interest.
