Today, a telephone conversation took place between the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, and the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin.

At the beginning of the conversation, Vladimir Putin, with best wishes, warmly and sincerely congratulated the Head of our state on his birthday and awarding the Order of the Russian Federation "For Merit to the Fatherland" III degree for a significant contribution to strengthening the Tajik-Russian relations of strategic partnership and alliance, as well as to ensuring regional stability and security.

The Leader of the Nation sincerely thanked the President of the Russian Federation for the congratulations, emphasizing that he attributed this high award to the people of our country.

The heads of state discussed a range of issues of interstate relations between the two countries, as well as prospects for their further development and expansion.

The parties also exchanged views on certain aspects of regional cooperation and topical issues on the international agenda.
