On July 14, in the Palace of the Nation, the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, held a working meeting with the participation of the Chairman of the Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mayor of the city of Dushanbe, Honorable Rustam Emomali, the Prime Minister of the country, Honorable Kokhir Rasulzoda, members of the Government of the country, the First Deputy Head of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Assistant to the President on Economic Issues and management of a number of state agencies and institutions.
Issues related to the improvement of macroeconomic indicators, the process of formation of the state budget and measures to expand non-cash settlements were discussed during the consultation.
In particular, discussions focused on expanding the opportunities for the formation of the gross domestic product, the development of real sectors of the economy and services, boosting the competitiveness of the country's industrial enterprises, increasing investment projects, upgrading the legislation in the domain of investment and improving the position of the Republic of Tajikistan in the rankings of international organizations.
President Emomali Rahmon instructed the Government of the country, the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, government ministries and agencies and the Executive body of state authority of the city of Dushanbe in connection with ensuring the macro-economic indicators of the country, timely and high-quality implementation of the state budget, development of manufacturing enterprises, ensuring high speed of the Internet and affordability of its price for the development of the digital economy, attracting more investments, especially direct capital for the implementation of priority projects.
Also, the timely implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated June 22, 2023, No. 586 "On measures to expand non-cash settlement" was emphasized during the meeting.
