Today the President of the Republic of Tajikistan addressed the people of the country with a televised congratulation on the occasion of the end of Holy month of Ramadan and approach of Id al-Fitr holiday.
The Head of State highlighted that due to the independence and implementation of state policy of Tajikistan the people has turned to its religion and ancestral traditions as a pure moral and ethical source, as well as added that it freely honors the customs and traditions of Islam.
The Tajik President noted that Id al-Fitr is one of the blessed moral rituals, during which the hearts of people gain the light of knowledge and divine love.
As President Emomali Rahmon mentioned, “in this context our esteemed people always honors the kind values of tolerance, goodwill and humanity”.
At the end of his address, Tajik leader expressed confidence that “our Muslim people during the feast’s prayer will sincerely pray to God for the sake of lasting peace and stability of our Motherland, its prosperity and tranquility, everlasting national unity and progress of our independent state”.
