Meeting with JICA Vice President Kiyoshi Kodera

Today, the President of the country Emomali Rahmon received the Vice President of the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Kiyoshi Kodera.

The issues of multifaceted cooperation between Tajikistan and Japan have been reviewed at the meeting.

It was recalled with satisfaction that during the bilateral partnership years Japan has allocated $295 million of grant and technical aid for support of sustainable development of Tajikistan.

Kiyoshi Kodera stated that Japan will further continue its large support for the socio-economic development of Tajikistan, including in the margins of Strategy for Raising Living Standards of Population of Tajikistan for 2013-2015 and its other actions in Central Asia and Afghanistan.

A constructive talk has also taken place on other issues of mutual interest.
