Today, the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received the Vice President of International Financial Corporation Dimitris Tsitsiragos.

The issues of cooperation with this authoritative world organization and support of socio-economic development of Tajikistan have been reviewed during the meeting.

The activities of IFC in Tajikistan have been highly evaluated. It was in particular noted that only during the last three years this institution has allocated more than $42 million of funds for implementation of important investment projects in different sectors of economy and enhancement of governing system.

Moreover, the further deepening of cooperation has been considered necessary for support of small and medium enterprises, full processing of local raw materials, ensuring energy and food security, development of infrastructure and facilitation to financial and legal structures for consistent improvement of investment climate.
