Today, the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmom received the Head of Permanent Representation of Aga Khan Development Network in Tajikistan Akbarali Pesnani.

An exchange of views was held at the meeting on the process of cooperation and prospects of mutually beneficial relations between Tajikistan and AKDN.

Both sides expressed interest in the expansion of areas of cooperation, including in the creation of tourism infrastructure, construction of hydropower plants, regional power transmission lines and support of small and medium enterprises.

The two sides also touched upon other subjects of mutual interest.
