Today, an ordinary meeting of the Government of Tajikistan was held under the chair of President of the country, Head of Government Emomali Rahmon.

A report by the Chairman of Committee on Religious Affairs under the Government of Tajikistan was heard on the implementation of Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On regulation of customs, traditions and ceremonies” at the beginning of the meeting.

As it was noted, during the 6 years of execution this law has positively influenced the transformation of socio-cultural and religious mentality of the people and has led to enhancement of living standards. The marriages have increased for 2 times due to reduction in expenses of weddings and ceremonies. During this period the volume of savings of population in banks increased for 20 times.

Draft law of Tajikistan “On fight against organized crimes” has been approved and submitted for consideration of the Majlisi namoyandagon of Majlisi Oli of Tajikistan. Moreover, a number of acting laws, including “On public service” and “On inspection of economic entities” have been proposed for amendments.
