Today President Emomali Rahmon received Regional Director of the World Bank for Central Asia Saroj Kumar Jha.

The sides discussed the issues related to reduction of negative impact of world economic and financial crisis to Tajikistan and the course of expertise of project for construction of Roghun HPP.

Head of state Emomali Rahmon expressed thanks to the leadership of the World Bank for continuous support of socio-economic development of Tajikistan and stressed Government’s interest in the expansion of bilateral cooperation.

A constructive talk has also taken place on the commencement of implementation of CASA-1000 project and other issues of mutual interest.
