Today, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received the Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Dmitry Mezentsev.

The meeting mainly considered the issues of preparation for the next summit of SCO head of states to be held in Tajikistan in 2014.

It was noted that during the Tajikistan presidency in SCO many events, including cultural exhibitions and others will be held in the territory of our country which will facilitate the rapprochement of peoples of the member and observer states.

Much attention was also paid to the issues of establishment of Development Bank and SCO Development Fund, holding of SCO Forum and development of SCO Strategy for 2020-2025.
