Today, President Emomali Rahmon held a working meeting with participation of Prime Minister Qohir Rasulzoda, First Deputy Prime Minister Davlatali Saidov and Deputy Prime Minister Azim Ibrohim, Chief of Executive Office of the President Bakhtiyor Khudoyorov, heads of a number of ministries and departments, as well as other officials.

The meeting addressed the issues related to the production activities of the Tajik Aluminum Company (TALCO) and supply of people with electricity and heating in winter season.

At first the report of management of TALCO was heard. As it was noted, as a result of financial and economic crisis and reduction of primary aluminum price in the world market many enterprises of this sphere have been suspended in many countries.

Head of state Emomali Rahmon, with consideration of significance of TALCO in the national economy and its great social importance, instructed the Government and relevant ministries and departments to take effective measures to find the ways to render state support to this company.

Concrete orders and instructions  were also given on the regular supply of population with electricity, heating and good maintenance of transport roads of the republic during the winter season.
