President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has sent congratulatory telegram to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hassan Ruhani, which reads, in particular:

“Your Excellency,

I am honored to sincerely congratulate you and the whole people of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the occasion of the 35^th anniversary of Islamic Revolution.

The further expansion of bilateral and multilateral relations with friendly and brotherly country of Iran is among the most important directions of foreign policy of the independent Tajikistan.

We believe that our constructive and beneficial relations will also further consistently be enriched with new content and substance, and will meet the vital interests of both countries.

Over the recent years the sides have achieved agreements in the important and numerous spheres of cooperation and have supervised the process of their implementation.

We wish to expand more and improve cooperation and opening of new pages of expansion of wide cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran, as well as believe that the brotherly country is also aiming these goals”.
