President Emomali Rahmon received the State Councilor, Minister of Public Security of China Guo Shengkun who arrived in Dushanbe to take part in the regular meeting of secretaries of security councils of the SCO member states and on an official visit to Tajikistan.

The sides discussed the issues of cooperation in the fields of security and fight against transnational crimes.

It was noted with satisfaction that the elevation of relations between Tajikistan and China to the level of strategic partnership has brought abundant opportunities for expansion of multidimensional cooperation, including in the sphere of security and protection of law and order.
