This morning President Emomali Rahmon initiated the construction of buildings of the Academy of Interior Ministry in a new site and opened additional educational building of the Military Institute of the Ministry of Defence.

First Head of state Emomali Rahmon visited the area of new buildings of the Academy of Interior Ministry, got acquainted with their projects and launched their construction. As it was mentioned, multi-storied educational buildings, 2 student dormitories with 700 beds, one residential building with 48 apartments with one and two chambers for teachers and officers of the academy, sports complex and many other facilities will be built here in the area of almost 10 ha.

As it was noted, after construction of new buildings of the Academy of Interior Ministry the number of its students will reach from current 2,5 thousand to 5 thousand students.

From here President Emomali Rahmon went to the Military Institute of the Ministry of Defence, opened its additional educational building and got familiarized with conditions created there.

As it was informed, this building is envisaged for education and residence of almost 300 students.

The new building has 75 classrooms, working offices and other rooms with modern visual means, including computers equipped with special educational programmes.
