Today, President Emomali Rahmon received the Head of Swiss Federal Department of Finance Eveline Widmer-Schlumpf.

The issues related to wide-ranging cooperation between Tajikistan and Switzerland have been discussed.

Main attention was paid to economic, trade, financial and investment cooperation.

Head of state Emomali Rahmon expressed satisfaction over the partnership and cooperation between Tajikistan and Switzerland and stressed: “We consider Switzerland as one of our important partners in Europe and attach particular attention to the expansion of ties with it”.

A constructive talk also took place on the attraction of direct investments to fundamental spheres of economy of Tajikistan from Switzerland and other countries of Europe and world and on other issues of mutual interest.
