During the meeting with the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev the issues related to friendly relations and multidimensional cooperation between the two countries were considered.
At the beginning of conversation Head of state Emomali Rahmon stated: “We believe that wide-ranging relationships between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan will further strengthen as a bright example and the regional cooperation will continue to develop for the benefit of our countries and their peoples”.
Nursultan Nazarbaev named Kazakhstan “second trade partner of Tajikistan” among the CIS countries after Russian Federation, and mentioned that his country “was always with Tajikistan and such relationship will further continue”.
A constructive talk was also held on the beneficial interaction of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan within regional and international organizations, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
