Today, a solemn meeting on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the city of Dushanbe was held with the participation of President Emomali Rahmon at the Theater of Opera and Ballet named after Aini.

The head of state, recalling the glorious ancient and modern history of the Tajik people and dear Tajikistan, congratulated the people of the Republic on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the country's capital Dushanbe.

Recalling the Dushanbe and Tajikistan of the Soviet period, he commended the fact that at that time the village of Dushanbe was chosen as the capital, and in a short time it turned into a beautiful city, the administrative and cultural center of our beloved homeland.
