Today, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received the Deputy Minister of Public Security of the People's Republic of China Men Hunwei.

At the meeting, the sides discussed issues of cooperation between Tajikistan and China in the field of security and peaceful life of the peoples of the two countries, including in the framework of the bilateral relations, as well as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

Particular attention was paid to ways of strengthening cooperation between the relevant agencies of the two countries under the circumstances of revitalization of contemporary threats and challenges.

It was stressed that both sides will take the necessary efforts for the timely implementation of cooperation programs aimed at this area.

A constructive conversation also took place on other matters of mutual interest.
