A solemn meeting on the occasion of the Tajik militia Day

Today, in the capital's Kokhi Vahdat complex, a solemn meeting was held in honor of the Tajik militia Day with participation of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.

In his speech President Emomali Rahmon congratulated all the law enforcement agencies of the country and the audience with their professional holiday, the Day of the Tajik militia, and stressed that peace, stability, public order and tranquility is assigned on law enforcement and military structures, particularly of the Interior, who proudly carry their important and honorable mission.

It was emphasized that "the Government of the country in recent years, particularly in order to ensure the transparency of the internal affairs bodies, modernization of public order, protection of the constitutional rights of citizens pays special attention to the education and improvement of the rule of law culture. To this end, at the stages of implementation of the reform of state structures also the reform of the country's internal affairs is consistently continued in order to bring their operations into compliance with the requirements of the modern world, along with other military establishments, militia today evolved into an influential body that has special authority, into an important school of education of defenders of public order".
