In the afternoon, a business forum of Tajikistan and the Czech Republic, which was attended by heads of two states - Emomali Rahmon and Milos Zeman, was held at the National Library of Tajikistan.
The forum was attended by about 400 entrepreneurs and investors from Tajikistan and the Czech Republic, as well as representatives of state bodies of the two countries.
At the beginning of the forum the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon expressed confidence that the event will give fruitful results.
It was emphasized that in Tajikistan, the necessary conditions and a favorable climate has been created for the promotion of business and investment, in addition, measures will be taken to support and develop the real economy, simplification of procedures related to the regulation of business activity. A significant work has been done in order to align the investment climate in line with international standards, for the development of the private and business sectors, integration with the global economy, the legal protection of domestic and foreign legal entities and individuals. In addition, the country has created the necessary conditions for free competition.
In the plenary part of the forum Czech President Milos Zeman also delivered a speech, expressing appreciation for the sincere and warm welcome in Tajikistan. M. Zeman, recalling the great available opportunities, urged entrepreneurs of the two countries to mutually beneficial cooperation.
The forum continue by the speeches of other officials of the two countries, as well as bilateral meetings between entrepreneurs and investors of Tajikistan and the Czech Republic. Some important agreements have been reached at the forum between the Tajik-Czech entrepreneurs and investors.
