Today in the afternoon, under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Head of the Government Emomali Rahmon began an expanded meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on the results of socio-economic development of the country in 2014 and the main objectives for 2015.

The expanded meeting was held with the participation of management and members of the Government of the country, heads of departments under the President and the Government of the country, other central bodies of structural units of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, national enterprises and institutions, chairmen of regions, cities and districts, heads of institutions of higher education, centers for the implementation of investment projects, joint-stock banks, official newspapers, magazines, and other officials.

At the beginning of the meeting reports of the Prime Minister Qohir Rasulzoda, Finance Minister Abdusalom Kurbonov, Chairman of the Tax Committee Nusratullo Davlatzoda, head of the Customs Service Rustami Emomali, Director of the Agency of Social Insurance and Pensions Safarali Najmiddinov were heard.

In these reports and during questions and answers the main attention was paid to ways of reducing the negative impact of external factors on the economy of Tajikistan, increasing domestic production and export potential, creating new jobs, full and qualitative performance of the state budget, thrifty budgetary expenditures and decrease of secondary costs. At the same time, it was stressed that the social sphere, including this year's increased salary, pension and scholarships, be funded in full and on time. It was instructed to continue to identify and to cancel pensions appointed illegally. It was noted that to date has been canceled 5600 illegal pensions.

Then, the Minister of Industry and New Technologies Shavkat Bobozoda, Minister of Energy and Water Resources Usmonali Usmonzoda, chairman of the company "Barki Tojik" Rustam Rahmatzoda, head of the company "Pamir Energy" Daler Jumayev, directors of the centers of investment projects in the energy sector and the director of the Joint Stock Company "Rogun HPP "Khairullo Safarov reported.
