Meeting with students of the country in the Tajik Agrarian University

Today, in the Tajik Agrarian University, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon held a meeting with the students of higher educational institutions on the occasion of the 18th anniversary of the Day of National Unity, during which the Head of State spoke on various issues related to the supreme values ​​of peace, stability, and sustainable development of Tajikistan.

At the beginning of his speech, President Emomali Rahmon congratulated the glorious people of Tajikistan and all overseas compatriots on the occasion of national unity and stressed that "In order to achieve this happy day, Tajik people overcame severe ordeals of history, due to its age-old wisdom put an end to the armed confrontation and imposed Civil War, has proved to the mankind that it can unite under the banner of unity and mutual understanding, live in an atmosphere of peace, stability and patriotic efforts to develop well the land of its ancestors."

In the continuation of the speech, it was noted that "national unity is our most valuable achievement, the main condition for the well-being of our people, a solid foundation of development and progress of our beloved homeland."

The Head of State, recalling the higher values ​​of unity, solidarity, peace and stability, said flatly that "The task of every conscious person and a patriot is to defend national unity as a priceless treasure, a very important achievement, respect it, along with our other national shrines."

President Emomali Rahmon, recalling the significant results that have been achieved in a relatively short historical period of Tajikistan after the establishment of peace and tranquility, appealed to young people to "respect this great achievement of our people's national unity, protect and honor it, to be visionary, to raise the banner of unity even higher, to be faithful to our beloved motherland, love every piece of land of their ancestors as their own life and their mothers."
