Congratulatory message to Zillur Rahman

Today the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent a congratulatory telegram to the President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Zillur Rahman. The message reads, in particular:

“Your Excellency,

I am honoured to convey you my sincere felicitations and best wishes on the occasion of the remarkable date in the history of contemporary relationships between the Republic of Tajikistan and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh – the 20th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations.

I avail this opportunity to assure that the kind relationships formed today between our countries will gain in future a stable development and will be enriched with concrete content and significance with a view to strengthening traditions of friendly and brotherly ties between our peoples in the different areas of mutually advantageous cooperation.

Tajik side is ready to take all necessary efforts to achieve these noble goals on the basis of recognized methods of equality, mutual respect and observance of interests.

I wish you, Your Excellency, strong health and new success, and to the friendly people of Bangladesh peace, stability, joy and happiness.”
