Reports of republican and local officials on outcomes of excessive precipitations

The President of the country Emomali Rahmon heard the accounts of the republican and local officials on the recent consequences of excessive precipitations of snow and rain, as well as gave specific instructions on realization of timely measures.

The chairmen of Sogd and Khatlon regions, Deputy Prime Minister of the country, ministers of transport and agriculture, Chairman of the Committee for Emergent Situations and Civil Defense and the heads of Aini, Varzob, Jirgatol, Tavildara, Rasht, Nurobod and Faizobod districts reported to the Head of state Emomali Rahmon about the state of automobile roads and other vulnerable spheres.

President Emomali Rahmon charged them with concrete tasks on exploitation of additional means and possibilities, rapid cleaning of automobile roads from snow and avalanches, helping those isolated, their supply with hot meals, restoration of normal state of transport networks, provision of educational, health and social protection institutions of highland districts with petroleum, oil, lubricants and foods, as well as on the support of cattle-breeders for helping the cattle out of the current year’s long winter without detriment.

The Head of state Emomali Rahmon stressed that all existing potential and resources should be used for support of the needy population which became the victim of the excessive snow and rain precipitations.
