In the afternoon, on August 31, President of the country Emomali Rahmon in order to take part in a colorful cultural program dedicated to the 700th anniversary of Mir Sayyid Ali Hamadoni visited the park named after Ismoili Somoni of Kulob city.

As reported, 700th anniversary of the celebrated scientist is held at the initiative of Head of state Emomali Rahmon, which is the supreme example of respect for the leadership and government of the glorious ancestors of the Tajik people that brought fame to our nation worldwide for his instructive creativity.

The venue of the main celebrations was the amphitheater of the Culture and Recreation Park named after Ismoili Somoni, which has opened its doors after renovation and reconstruction.

President of the country Emomali Rahmon congratulated all participants and residents of Kulob with the 700th anniversary of Mir Sayyid Ali Hamadoni and the upcoming National Day of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.

At the beginning of his speech, President of the country Emomali Rahmon noted that by the warmly welcoming and joyful faces of residents of Kulob it is evident that they are well prepared for the festivities, made a significant contribution to the improvement of the city. The proud and glorious people of the Kulob city fully prepared as a 24th anniversary of the state independence of our beloved country, this process is carried out a number of measures. The head of state also expressed his gratitude to every resident of the city and the entire Tajik people on behalf of the Government of the country.

 For the inhabitants of the glorious ancient Kulob, State Independence Day is of particular importance, because the inhabitants of this city, along with our other dear compatriots have shown an example of valor to the achievement of peace, stability, protection of constitutional government, to strengthen national unity, - said the President of the country Emomali Rahmon.

The President noted that after the national unity of the ancient inhabitants of Kulob with gratitude for the peace, stability and independence of the Motherland began to landscaping and the creation of a modern infrastructure.

At the initiative of the Government of the country in all spheres of society, including in Kulob were initiated radical reforms within the framework of the celebration of the 2700th anniversary of Kulob completed construction of a 2700-anniversary of Kulob city museum, an amphitheater, a symbolic wall of Kulob fortress, construction and repair of 23 schools, Presidential schools, and dormitories for teachers and continues to build 7 modern schools, which provided for the construction of 31 million somoni.

Among the initiatives of independence include the construction of an international airport, railway Kurgantyube-Kulob, and repair and reconstruction of streets and avenues of the city, the construction of the Sports Palace, as well as 17 sports grounds, creating a dozen production plants and service centers that promote the prosperity of the city of Kulob.

President Emomali Rahmon said that the Government has to address one of the major problems of the city - repair and reconstruction of internal roads to prepare a separate project under which three years in accordance with international standards for the amount of 100 million Somoni about 20 km of internal roads of the city in three phases will be renovated, including taking into account the illumination of the road and the construction of a road bridge 30 meters long.

Message of Kulyab cultural center of the CIS member states is clear evidence of improving the status of the city and its development, - said the President of the country Emomali Rahmon.

For the further continuation of the process of creation and improvement of the government of the country last year has been adopted the "State program of development of the city of Kulob on 2015-2019", which totaled 1 billion 46 million Somoni.

In the period of independence for the second time was held the anniversary of Mir Sayyid Ali Hamadoni within the framework of events dedicated to this great personality, reconstructed museum and mausoleum of that thinker, the country adopted a number of important cultural action.

Today we have decided to begin the celebration of the anniversary of the 700th anniversary of Mir Sayyid Ali Hamadoni in the ancient and charming Kulob and then hold an international scientific conference in the city of  Dushanbe and Kulob with the participation of domestic and foreign scholars and guests, - said the President of the country Emomali Rahmon.

Mir Sayyid Ali Hamadoni is one of the most outstanding figures of the East; enjoyed the love and glory not only in our country but also in Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India and some of Arab countries, as a thinker, philosopher and poet.

Mir Sayyid Ali Hamadoni saw the stability of society in peace and unity, has always been a supporter of peace and unity - said President Emomali Rahmon and added that in the framework of the ideas of the great thinkers, we also must strive not only to achieve full unity, but also to fight against any adverse events, to protect young people from the terrible modern threats, such as involvement in the war, the so-called Islamic state and radical movements.

President Emomali Rahmon stated with confidence that the glorious and proud Tajik people, including the inhabitants of ancient Kulob, studying the heritage of our ancestors, and the works of our great thinkers, and will continue to struggle and work for the future improvement of our dear motherland, raising the flag of Tajikistan on the international arena.

At the end, President Emomali Rahmon has congratulated all persons in attendance, and through them the citizens of the country with great national holiday - the state independence of Tajikistan and wished progress and prosperity of the motherland.
