The construction of a new building of the Main Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan has been launched this morning by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
A nine-floor building with an area of 1937 m2 will be built in the center of Dushanbe City.
Customer of this facility is the Department for construction of governmental facilities of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Head of state Emomali Rahmon instructed the builders to put up high quality building for 1 year, before the marking of the 25th anniversary of the State Independence of the country.
The budget of construction is estimated at 43 million 850 thousand somoni.
President of the country Emomali Rahmon during familiarization with facility's plan said that the Consular Department building will be built in conformity with the national architectural traditions and ornated with decorative stones.
On the different floors of the structure will be built working cabinets for departments and main departments, offices, auditorium with 110 seats, a library, as well as classrooms.
The building will be equipped with modern heating and air conditioning.
In addition to the spacious study with the most modern working conditions, in the basement will be located underground parking for official cars, storage room, electrical substation and other technical facilities.
The ground floor will accommodate offices for reception of guests, visitors with 134 seats, as well as 8 rooms for the issuance of visas.
